Privacy Policy
mackenziechildusa.shop collects and uses personal information so a studio-made object can be sold, packed, and discussed after it leaves the bench. This notice states those practices in running prose. It avoids headings, numbered clauses, and trademark ornaments. The paragraphs on this page replace any earlier copy you may have saved.
Information you type into checkout includes name, delivery address, email, and telephone. That set is used to fill the order and to speak with a carrier. A newsletter field, when you complete it, stores the address only for notes about fresh tableware, furniture, and household objects. The list is not sold, rented, or traded to other merchants. A request to leave the list can be sent to mackenzie-childs@gmail.com.
Payment data is taken by a checkout processor. Full card numbers are not stored in this shop’s database. The processor may retain billing details under its own policy in order to capture, refund, or review a charge. If a statement line is unclear, contact the issuer and write to mackenzie-childs@gmail.com with the order number so the two records can be compared.
Technical data can include internet address, browser, device, pages viewed, search terms on the site, and cart actions. Session files on your device help the bag of items persist while you move between collections. Blocking those files can interrupt payment. Logs are used to operate the storefront, to understand which furniture and dinnerware pages are read, and to notice traffic that looks like abuse.
Uses of personal information include sending order acknowledgements, dispatch mail, return decisions, and replies to finish or care questions. Where you have asked for product notes, we may write about new work. We may attach a later email to an earlier order so a painter’s variation is discussed against the correct SKU. Telephone numbers are not used for promotional text unless you asked for that channel.
Service providers receive what they need to run payment, postage, email delivery, hosting, and similar functions. They are not licensed to build their own marketing file from our customers. Disclosure also occurs when a statute, a lawful demand, or a serious risk to people or property requires it, and may occur if the shop is sold and the buyer must honour open orders. The newsletter list is not provided for third-party prospecting.
You may request a summary of what we hold, a correction to an address or a name, a stop on product notes, or deletion of eligible records. Accounting and carrier files can remain because other rules require them. We verify identity before releasing another person’s data. Write to mackenzie-childs@gmail.com, call 800 327 8586, or post a letter to 3260 State Route 90, Aurora, NY 13026.
The storefront is not directed at children under thirteen. We do not seek their information. If a parent believes a child submitted details, contact us so we can delete what the systems still hold. Outbound links follow the privacy notices of those destinations. Checkout pages are encrypted. Encryption reduces risk; it does not remove it, so protect passwords and avoid saving a login on a public computer.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, correct, delete, or limit certain sharing used for advertising. We will say which of those rights we can carry out for the request you send. Withdrawing consent for mailings does not cancel an order already paid. Retention follows the purpose of collection, including legal and bookkeeping needs, and then the record is removed or stored in a less identifiable form where the systems allow.
A revised notice is posted on this page and applies from the time it appears. Using the shop after a revision means you are dealing with the new text. Privacy questions, list removals, and access requests should go to mackenzie-childs@gmail.com or 800 327 8586, or to 3260 State Route 90, Aurora, NY 13026. Bring the email used at checkout so staff can find the right file without guessing among similar names.
